I like niche games

Today I am looking for something that's like Oregon Trail in space... like, you'll be just snoozing in the hull somewhere when a micro asteroid vents your wife.

FTL: Faster Than Light probably fits pretty well

I didn't want to drop the topic but couldn't post well cuz was sick;

I was lamenting how Games Workshop is shittily handling their IPs these days and their cancellation of Elysian Drop Troops.

Is there a game, relatively recent if possible, about, like, not quite marines but basically elite soldiers that drop in to fight the enemy - usually xenos like tyranid. Oh, and if it has the Contemptor Dreadnoughts that'd be so cool.

I'm in Lost Tunnels (basically the 2nd combat encounter that counts) and you have to kill everyone for Bourbon to open the door.

I had a dream last night of playing bomberman, only bomberman was really really tiny and the levels were huge... because there were like 200 players at once!
