I only started keeping up with it when someone said Dominik had the chance to win it off Seth Rollins at SummerSlam 2020 but failed to.

Eventually that found its way to Roman for over 3 years and later Cody (with a month-long run by Jey Uso in-between Roman's runs).

Cody is also currently The Man. CM Punk currently has The Man lineage from Flair's final match in TNA. Swerve Strickland has a version that started with Rollins in 2015. Finally, Rhea Ripley has the female version that started with Becky in 2018

There's a good chance the main event at Clash is gonna be McIntyre vs Priest, meaning it'll be the first WWE main roster ppv main event since Hell in a Cell 2021 (aka the end of the Thunderdome period) to NOT feature one of the following five superstars:

Kevin Owens
Rhea Ripley

You can replace Owens with McIntyre and the list will still only go back to Wrestlemania 39 Night 2 with just those five

oh absolutely. i mean i get the split opinion on the supernatural element, though it's just being shot really well and i like that it's being played straight. but Bo's work there was just fantastic and it's transitioning supernatural stuff to more psychological stuff.
