I was skeptical of the Judgment Day storyline playing out so... Obviously, but damn if the Terror Twins aren't over.

Also, Gunther looks like an absolute star.

It's always nice when you have a match that appears very "You can push one, Gunther or Priest" on the surface, but then it results in "Surprise, both get pushed in the best way they could be!"

Modern writing is nice.

At this rate, I don't see Terror Twins vs Judgment Day going past Bad Blood. I can't take the stable seriously when they have a 5-on-2 advantage and are currently 1-4 in the feud (when considering both matches AND segments).

Today pretty much sets up Rhea vs Liv at Bad Blood, which should close the feud. If Rhea wins back the title, we're back to the beginning of the year, except Becky's on hiatus and Nia's on SD. Who tf does Rhea feud with afterwards? The Pure Fusion Collective (also the dumbest name since The Viking Experience).

Priest vs Balor is coming, though I'm not sure how soon. No clue where either one goes after the angle ends though.

My main pet peeve with the whole Liv vs Rhea angle is this

Liv is the heel when she has essentially been the perfect boyfriend to Dom. Yes they are shit bags as a whole and as a group but the angle is about them as a couple where she has been great.

Rhea is the face because Dom cheated on her and she's been discarded from the Judgment day. Except the way she got Dom to be her boyfriend was to beat the fuck out of him and his family for months. She basically Stockholm syndromed him.

Rhea also betrayed Liv, beat the fuck out of her and sidelined her for ages. So how am I supposed to feel bad for Rhea and support her? She essentially got her comeuppance but they are portraying it as poor Rhea, she's the good one

Also a personal thing but terror twins is such a stupid ass name and irks me.

They had Liv literally say "Guys prefer girls that look like me."

That's just instant heeldom

Also the not so subtle teases that she's essentially fucking most of the group, like when Finn took the hotel room card she left for Dom.

I spoiler tagged that last part because I feel like it's going to play into things later and end up being what kills the Judgment Day for good, since stables never last, and that's built in division, right there.

At least part of that story is that Hangman is pissed that everyone forgave Swerve and is treating his as the bad guy.

Reflecting on it some, I think what also helps the Rhea stuff is they tied Priest into it, and Priest is a much more sympathetic figure since he was legitimately done dirty, so her showing loyalty to him makes her easier to accept as a face in the situation.

They did it in a way that makes sense, too, since even in a group of heels, they were the only two that showed actual friendship and loyalty, while the others scurried further into rat heeldom.

Idk, remember when Kane kidnapped, raped, and impregnated Lita but somehow became a face less than 6 months later because Snitsky existed?

Just watched the Punk/McIntyre segment, and it was great hearing Tessitore again. It was like putting those old FNF boxing shows back on. I'm curious what it's like during actual matches, but that was a good start.

For the most part, Tessitore was great.

Raw felt decent though. Odyssey Jones removed from the online roster out of nowhere, Judgment Day still can't beat the Terror Twins when one of said twins is on a crutch with one functioning leg, and Sonya cuts a cringe promo.

It's still pretty wild to see the X Division title on WWE programming, even if it is just NXT. This working relationship has been cool. Definitely a sign that Vince is for sure out of da picture

Hogan on Logan Paul's podcast has been something, that's for sure

Two most noteworthy things:
- Says that Internet Wrestling fans have forgiven Chris Benoit (since when?), therefore Hogan should be forgiven for his racist remarks
- Says he never used creative control at all in WCW

Also listened to someone on Twitter say Hogan put more people over than Austin

If Hogan wasn't such a compulsive liar all his life, I'd wonder what he'd do with himself.

Hogan also said Logan is gonna be one of the biggest babyfaces ever, should get the world title, and should save Roman from the Bloodline.

Logan will never be face ever. To think he even wanted to be one when debuting was hilarious.

so okay i get that this is going on for a while and story-wise it's not really making a lot of sense considering Gable and American Made are just getting wrecked every time.

but their chemistry is still fucking fantastic and Gable is a god in the ring right now.

Gable's been carrying that entire feud and deserves something after this.

Question is, where do both stables go from here? When do the Wyatt Sicks actually lose? Who else would feud with them?

A friend suggested Wyatt Sicks vs Judgment Day since Balor kicked Priest and Rhea out of the "family", giving Howdy a reason to strike; but if Balor's crew can't beat 2 regular people most of the time, what makes anyone think they can beat 5 supernatural beings?

a surprising loss for sure but at the same time, Jay kinda needs a title. most surprising thing on this feud was that he's never had a singles title before, like damn that's some wild 'just a tag team' guy.

I have to give props to Tessitore and Barrett. Tessitore came in and did ok first week, but man, they just do wonders for big moments like the main event. They flow back and forth calling the action, and Tessitore has gotten really good at balancing his usual announcing style with some higher intensity moments.

Omos is basically in WWE purgatory, having not wrestled a match since the Andre Battle Royal. Bobby Lashley left WWE last month. Shelton Benjamin's been gone for awhile now.

If Roman and Cody DO main event and (likely) win, Roman will tie Cena for most WWE ppv main event wins at 37 a piece

There has to be something screwy planned (Rock return or heel turn by Owens/Orton/Both) for the tag match. That's the only reason you'd book the tag match over the HIAC feud that has lasted a fucking year.

That or McIntyre wins and they have to have a face go over in the end...cause I'm confused.

"The Rock screws Punk out of main eventing, even when he's in the hottest feud of the year" is one of the greatest curses in wrestling history.

They're putting the tag match in last because it's their two biggest stars teaming together.
I doubt there'll be anything too shocking. Maybe Jimmy returns.
