I've been on a cruise for the past week, getting off the ship soon. Last night on the movie channel they played The Flash. I didn't really have any interest in seeing it, but, it was on so I watched. It really wasn't as bad as I was told it was. I enjoyed it for what it was. The special effects weren't very good, but whatever.
Also Ezra Miller as a person sounds like the fucking worst

The first half is basically low-budget garbage, but after Michael Keaton gets involved, it's at least redeemable.

Sucks that it isn't very good, since I love The Flash as a character. The humor was too weird and wacky for me. The story was pretty basic, but at least the ending was pretty heartfelt and solid.

I found it altogether enjoyable as well. It's not much of an accolade but it's easily a top five DCEU movie.

Yeah I got around to watching it as well, it's a mid movie tbh. I get Ezra Miller is giving it his all, but man both versions of Barry were unbearable in this movie and these are the guys you have to follow for the majority of the film. There was soo much forced humor and the worst part is that most of them never landed for me. Movie does get better once Michael Keaton Batman gets involved with the plot and some action scenes do look good (the fight scenes against the Russian soldiers were really well done), but the CGI is one of the worst I've seen in a big budget movie yet. Soo much of it looked ugly, especially when they have to CGI human characters in like the "cameos" and babies. I know a lot of people had issues with the third act of the movie, but to be honest I'm glad they went into that direction because it does help with Barry Allen's character development as a whole and I'm glad it didn't take the conventional "happy ending" way to finish the movie. I actually did get a little emotional at the end of the movie, but that might be because I also lost my mom at a young age as well.

"we noticed that most people objected strenuously to our inclusion of Ezra Miller so we put them in like four roles to really maximize the disgust"
