I think you have that backwards, why would 2L bottles be cheaper than 20oz bottles? They're usually a dollar or two more.

I've transitioned into teas, it's fairly cheap stuff. Not the same caffeine and sugar infusion, but, works enough for later in the day.

i can also say this, back when I drank soda it was noticeably cheaper to always buy 2 liters as opposed to individual bottles
