I 100% agree they're not on the same team. I just think the game is more complicated than that after seeing two kills last night and neither was IGCD's team's factional kill

As someone already mentioned a "Mason" is by definition a member of Town. Unless someone ELSE is Kirby's mason-buddy then Ulti must be town.

There is a difference between "Masons" and "Neighbors". Both can talk to each other in a separate chat, but Masons are by definition town and neighbors might be town, but aren't guaranteed.

You see multiple numbers between 1-26 after a message that specifically tells you to decode it and you are going to think that those are supposed to be letters. Then you look for a way to adjust the letters into something that makes sense.

Now as far as the REST of the message there may be some hidden meanings there that I'm overlooking, but it also might have all simply been set dressing for the "Chang" message.

I assumed at least half of us would have gotten there.

it seemed more fun to send a silly little riddle than sending a dumb, boring message. i briefly considered emulating someone else's style and tone but it wasn't going particularly well when I tried it.

I shouldn't have left the 8 in (too easy), though I'm sure FD could and would have brute forced the shift cipher regardless. the intent by no means was for it to be unsolveable, just to have some fun and claim because i'm sure i'd have to claim today anyway

Well that does make me think Chang isn't on a team that killed Kirby. Which is a point in his favor I guess but still nebulous based on how the game ends up being set up

Depends on how obvious Kirby and Ulti's scan is. Just getting out of rehearsal so I haven't read thoroughly. It doesn't really matter, this game is already lost. Not in the sense that scum wins, although that is generally the safe money. Just gonna be another game with another dead town chat full of "wow Lea is a stupid piece of (censored for the younglings). I feel like yesterday would have been better if I had committed to never posting and/or no lynching, see where passion leads.

Anyway Red has been on a D1 hot streak as town of late, and I did not get that D1. At the time I thought his Mzero vote was pretty weak, and I felt like he knew too much about Lopen's alignment.

No we weren't. Him caring as little as he did by the end made it likely he scum faking to look towny or no power. That was considered. The moment votals came I thought it was most likely vanilla and not scum though, 7 votes with scum down, they'd basically have to all be town. I'm not even sure Lopen needed to claim there even. Does FD actually think "he was right" here?

If someone wants to a good thing they can make prettier votals that are in order from d1. No disrespect to the ones that were.

I just think for looking at trends they can be better.

I'm curious to Ben leaving out Death of the 3 actually and forgetting Lopen's suspicion of him. Lopen actually never had me in the names or backup names of a Corrik kill, which struck me as interesting at the time, but did have Death.

I saw that, but Lopen claiming tracker didnt happen immediately after that Mzero comment either.

I would still think SBell and Red belongs in that category but with how good I have been so far I do not think I can rule them out entirely though.

Chang is a spelling machine. Think that's a glorified vanilla. Some effort was put into it though so likely not on a team with Ben. If IGCD wanted to kill a mate it has to be him now. It's not something I would role meta, but if you there are any flavor meta people out there then you basically have to put chang in town. I'm thinking I should move him up the probably town.

Leaves Ben, Lea, FD and Death which I think is a bit too shallow a pool at this point and why I considered if my clear of Red or SBell was wrong.

Also I really doubt scum killed Lopen because he was right about someone, at least not as their main incentive.

Besides Lopen suspected me to for 'protecting scumZero' which I clearly have not done.
I did take it easier on Mzero due to his usual timezone troubles and also I liked his conviction against FD later. But I didnt ignore him anyway. I gave him the same attention I did Red.

Why

It is likely tho that the 2nd nontown team (whatever it is) is at least partially hidden within the people everyone feels good about. Though I doubt Changmas and Ulti are anything but town due to their roles.

But if the nonscum side is just an SK, it'd be a lot harder to find them and hunting independents at this stage is just wasting time.

Yeah I got what you meant, flavor fit perfectly though, and he claimed somewhat unprovoked, he wanted potential kill control more than to save himself, momentum was singing away from him. I don't think it makes sense to think he lied unless you thought he was scum.

Someone who finds lopen annoying is SK. Kirby was the scum extra kill.

Tonight will be two more kills. Then there will be 1 tomorrow as scum can't shoot.

Unless SK is also every other night. Which is possible and there is one kill tonight.

Oh I did not think he would claim tracker as scum because there was (almost certainly) another killer out there that might kill him for it.
Also it certainly was not unprovoked. Lopen was leading in votes!

Also the flavor does fit, but his character is not that important in the movies, so I could see it also fitting a nilla claim.
