Economics 04/16/24 6:20:19 PM #1:	This is a very unique board, even compared to LUE I first came to gamefaqs on an account called wedey when I was very young. I was homeschooled at the time and in many ways gamefaqs and its spin-off boards were a big part of my social life. Looking back on it now this has been an amazing experience. Yes, Ive gone through countless accounts. Yes, there was shit posting. But there were also a lot of fond memories that I will always cherish. I remember being on spring break with my family when Cenco de Mayo happened. I couldnt really explain it to my relatives but it felt good knowing I witnessed something magical. This was back when CjayC was not only an admin but a presence on the board. I remember when family guy did the rickroll. I was very young and my grandparents were visiting. It was somewhat late at night and I wasnt supposed to be on the computer. I explained what happened to my parents and for some reason they made an exception and let me browse CE that night. Seems kinda silly now, I was, what? 13? But it is a very fond memory from my childhood that still makes me feel warm. CjayC left gamefaqs around the time I was going to start high school. Back then I felt an era had ended. But I never thought CE would end. I always imagined Id keep coming back with alts to take about man fan. About how you had a refrigerator upstairs! This is most likely going to be the last gamefaqs account I ever have. If I cant post on CE, Id rather not come at all. There is still plenty of time on this site to make great memories. We are older now, sure. I have a Masters Degree and own a home. Things have changed, but that doesnt mean you have to change. Lets make the next year the best one out of all of them. They can take away our politics, trolling, and even our message board. But they cannot take away our sprit.
