Rules: If you list more than 4 things I'm gonna just tally the first 4 you say. If you list the same character multiple times it won't count. Be nice. Don't shove your personal definition of "Mount Rushmore" down others' throats. Have fun. If you're going to majorly change a vote please quote your old vote to make it easier for me.

Non-political-American-specific-rules: We aim to follow the new ToS, so there needs to be NO political talk ITT. If you are going to debate whether or not an American is too political to be voted for, make sure to be careful not to ACTUALLY mention politics in your argument!! I suggest a series of smoke signals to accomplish this.

  • Must be an American citizen, born or naturalized
  • Must not have ever held any type of political office
  • Must not have ever run for any type of political office
  • Must have NEVER expressed any type of political leaning or firm stance on a hot-button political topic
  • Must be a semi-notable American, you cannot vote for yourself or someone only you know
  • Must be a real person that is confirmed to exist

Game Shows: Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune, Price is Right, TIEBREAKER GO VOTE

YESTERDAY: This is absolutely one of the biggest nail-biters for me to tally ever. The first few posts I was like, "what a boring day, it's gonna be Jeopardy/Wheel/Price/Feud"... and then I realized Millionaire was only two votes behind Feud, and I was like "wow that's just a fluke though"

Then the Millionaire votes started rolling in... including a few from our obviously non-American Board 8ers... and more and more votes became either "Jeopardy/Wheel/Price/Feud" OR "Jeopardy/Wheel/Price/Millionaire," indicating Feud was the "weak link" that people tossed out for vanity votes. Eventually, Millionaire was leading by 2 consistently

But the real twist was when we had second-page Millionaire discourse, because I guess ppl picked up on it getting so much support, and two people CHANGED THEIR VOTES from Millionaire to something else, including @AbsolutelyNoOne changing from Millionaire TO FEUD, which tied it up. The tie was more or less consistent until the last vote.

Absolutely wild. I hesitate to call Millionaire the underdog here because I would say it held 4th longer than Feud. Going to be interesting to see how the tiebreaker goes.

Michael Jordan
Steve Jobs

first one is famous for saying "Republicans buy sneakers too." but there might be something else in there for political stuff.
Jobs was pretty famous for people not knowing his politics and it being a very murky mess.

Mega Man losing to Pikachu then beating Pikachu like a week later is something I think about very often

I mean, both matches were insanely close (Pikachu's victory was by less than 100), so it was definitely an "any given Sunday" match-up.
