I respect your opinions here but man. Id much rather they give it to a guy who doesnt bounce in and out of the WWE every other year

They needed a new Final Boss to replace Taker. Brock was the perfect fit. Some of the names passed around at the time that felt like good ideas turned out to be duds. You dont waste the streak on someone you arent 100% sure about.
I completely get the argument Brock wasnt round much but it never bothered me personally. Its not like Taker was working a full time schedule. Post Streak Brock was great and managed to get more people over himself.
