The Steam page for the game updated a screenshot for the mirror scene (the rightmost one). It now looks way more faithful than how it did initially. Maybe they took the "James is supposed to not look tormented and miserable" criticisms seriously. I'm not convinced they changed anything aside of the lighting. His face only looked super thin because of the heavy shadows.
