large blizzard is completely doable in one sitting.

i haven't had a blizzard in close to a year when i rolled up to a dq after like 2 years of not having one and paying 9$CAD for a small with extra oreos

I haven't gone there in years but a large really isn't that big. I have done it multiple times in the past though my trips to DQ were always rare, even before I gave up eating out completely in 2017.

I would say I never would stop at DQ more than twice in a year. So it was rare for me to go there. Some years I wouldn't go at all.

But when I did go, definitely a large blizzard was getting eaten.

I've done it before. Too bad I always end up having to rush for the bathroom not long after I eat even a little bit of ice cream.

Pretty much. It's soft-serve ice cream mechanically blended with assorted stuff like candy pieces, cookies, sundae toppings, etc. It's also thick enough that it won't spill if you turn it upside-down shortly after serving (which the employees generally do in front of you before turning it back right-side-up and handing it over to you, to show that it's made correctly).

No DQ around me, but I'll get a small Sonic Blast with cookie dough and m&ms every once in awhile, and that shit fills me the fuck up. Couldn't imagine eating a large in one sitting.

Oh it's ice-cream. Nah I can't man
I'm not a fan of ice cream because they hurt my teeth tbh. Wore them out through bruxism . Also can't eat it fast which annoys me

I don't think I've had a blizzard ever. If I ever had a craving for ice cream while out, I'd go to a Rite Aid or Baskin Robbins.

But looking at their site, I'd go with an Oreo Blizzard, which is 1050 calories for the large. I could absolutely eat that in one sitting.

I got one recently. It turned out to be surprisingly good. The pastry pieces legit tasted like bits of pie dough. I would recommend

Never been to Dairy Queen but Ive always been capable of eating a crazy amount of ice cream.

It's ice cream, but it's super thick, and regularly includes copious amounts of some kind of candy, such as Oreo, Reese's Pieces, etc.

On average, the candy to ice cream ratio is a decent bit higher than found in most regular ice creams, and the thick texture also tends to provide a sensation of feeling like you're eating something heavier than you actually are.

Soft serve is really not designed for re-freezing. It completely loses the texture.
