The first was very powerful and radiated her sexual prowess like an aura. The second was a novice and was there to claim a tally rather than have fun like the first one wanted. If demons existed, and they were exactly as vile as the Abrahamic religions claimed them to be, I'd have no doubt that they're backing the Republicans, the Tories, Putin, etc. right now. Conversely, if they were not necessarily evil (as in more modern works, such as Hazbin Hotel), they could prove to be very powerful allies. Picture a healthy patch of forest, but then one large isolated tree. Gnarled, dark rotting wood. Leafless. Thorns. And numerous patches of webbing (not sure if from spiders or those silkworm things). Just being near it gave me the heebie-jeebs.
