I would compare it to other 4 door cars like the VW GTI, Toyota GR Corolla GTS, Hyundai, also the Acura Integra Type S is very similar to the Type R corvettes and mustang is getting into RWD coupes, very different in comparison. I think they're fine, just not worth the dealer markups. At that point, you can get a used C8 Corvette now. Personally I don't find them all that interesting. I get the appeal but they visually do nothing for me. You will never find Honda or Toyota at the same price like 2010 or prior due to their cars jumping in sales and value.
