How does it compare to more well-known hot sauces, like Tabasco or RedHot? Could a current avid user of those two hot sauces easily get hooked on this stuff?

Way better. Spicier too. You can easily get hooked. Craft HotSauce is a lot better and many have different heat levels from Jalapeno to Carolina Reaper. But, there's a ton of variety and flavor. Tastes nothing like the store bought tabasco.

If you want good hot sauces, stick to buying from heatonist.com. I haven't tried any sauces from Hellfire, but I have seen them on Heatonist. Heatonist only sells hot sauces that do not use extracts and only sauces that get their heat from real peppers. That's why a lot of those shitty hot sauce gift boxes are garbage because most of the sauces are just vinegar and pepper extracts. I'll make a second comment with some links and reviews to some sauces I've had from heatonist

Pain and taste awful. I have a limit. My tolerance isn't super high. So extracts are agony. Even Ghost pepper based sauces can be a bit rough.

What's that meme about hot sauce, something about how hot sauce makers have to call it deathblast thunder pants and there's gotta be skulls and whatnot on the label

I love hot sauce! I prefer flavorful ones like Datil and Jalapeno, but I can handle Ghost Pepper.

it's true but, rednecks dont buy hot sauce or craft beer. They buy tabasco and bud light or PBR if they're feeling "special".

I read a funny story about this. A customer and a cook had a bet. Cook used a few drops of crystal but the customer managed to finish the meal thanks to his taste buds going numb. Things turned ugly the following day

I've only tried the One Chip Challenge/was harsh. I like to have flavor with my heat. If the sauce is nasty the heat is worthless.

Are they more Tabasco like?
They look neat, but I don't like hot sauces that taste like Tabasco.
