Girlfriend needs new phone, I haven't been keeping up because I just take whatever phone my plan gives me for free and don't really like using phones. Seems most phones have decent cameras nowadays, so the priorities are:

storage size
sturdiness
a general predilection towards not having issues
android only

Samsung Galaxy Xcover 7 (Dimensity 6100+, 2024) or Xcover 6 pro (Snapdragon 778G, 2022)

1. Storage size? Phones have dedicated microSD slot hell yeah! Stick whatever TBs you can find there.
2. Sturdiness? Rated to withstand a 1.5m drop to concrete. Sturdier than most android out there although less sturdy than Nokia 3310 and those Nintendo handhelds.
3. A general predilection towards not having issues? It's Samsung, not some unknown chinese brands.
