And honestly its too bad because he was a great person.

But he never really had a chance. America is just too far conservative of a country to elect him. I wonder what a debate between him and Trump would look like. Two old New Yorkers going at each other would have been fun lol

Nor will anyone else that's running on things that will actually help people. You have two choices - Republicans or a party that pretends to fight against them.

He's a nice old man with good thoughts that never really figured out how to make them happen, but he would have been a terrible leader. The moment he was running and his own tax proposal paid for less than half of his policy proposal it became painfully clear he never bothered to figure out HOW to make all his grand ideas work.

yeah and I just felt like his base was young college kids. I mean I respect h but when I was in college his supporters were evangelical about him, it was hard to have an actual conversation about the issues

Neither of those things to strike me as particularly true about Bernie or his supporters. If anything, they would've almost certainly been MORE issue oriented - as Bernie was.
