8 day old article on the ending to Lost

https://www.themarysue.com/lost-ending-explained/

Might be trending as a topic?

Does it make sense for them to be in an afterlife? Does each season represent a symbol and then reincarnated?
Almost all the Losties had a prior connection to each other. The people you know, or have meaning in your life will have connections even if you don't know. That person that seems familiar but you don't know why. That's part of it. The ending is everyone gathered together after what ever life they led after the island. They are in fact dead in that last scene where it's explained. It could be 70 years from the events on the Island. Everyone moved on as a group pretty much.

The point isnt the characters dont suck. Its that the focus on the character narrative popularized the concept in modern form.

The flashbacks were specifically character driven arcs, not devices to further the plot which was more common. People often forget but Lost absolutely modernized character driven narratives with set pieces attached which wasnt a common thing.
