I played the remastered version of monkey island 1 and 2.

I loved day of the tentacle

I grew up with Sierra; Kings Quest, Space Quest, Quest for Glory and Phantasmagoria.

My favorite hands down is The Journeyman Project Turbo.

Not Pegasus Prime. Turbo.

Though PP will work in a pinch. It had a couple of new ideas in it that were kinda neat, even if it's actually aged worse than Turbo. That said, getting Turbo to work on W7 was a pain in the ass, so I cannot blame anyone who doesn't want to attempt it on 10/11.

Grew up playing Scarab Of Ra constantly on my old Mac LC II.

Blazing Dragons (funny send-up of King Arthur legend, inverted with dragons and a human as the villain, done in typical Monty Python humor by Terry Jones, along with Cheech Marin)

Absolute top-tier gaming genre.

Grim Fandango, although it isnt a point n' click, you may enjoy. It's great. One of my all-time favorites. Worth a playthrough or two. Similar. Third-person adventure from the height of LucasArts. Walk up to stuff and try to interact, similar to Myst or old school RPGs maybe. Actually, I wish I had considered Grim Fandago when I made my last thread. It always reminded me of playing Final Fantasy VII minus the entire combat system.

Weird how that works, isn't it? Pointing and clicking are largely irrelevant. The term is largely just used to mean "adventure."

Echo Night, especially if you're into FS games or the Cthulhu Mythos, etc

Only seen the original Monkey Island mentioned. So should go for the obvious Monkey Island 2. My fav one of the series
