Yeah the commentary on Ridiculousness is mostly just describing what happened while laughing without any real jokes for the most part. Daniel's a comedian, and has a better writing crew, so it was way better for sure. At least that's how it was back when my brother and sister would watch Ridiculousness. They loved Rob & Big, Fantasy Factory, etc.

And while Tosh.0 is a little older by like a year or two, they really are both from the same era.

Yeah, used to think it was pretty funny. I'm not overly fond of comedians whose whole schtick is "I'm going to intentionally be as offensive as I can be because fuck you", however he and Jeselnik make it work in my opinion. Not that I find everything they say funny and wouldn't even rate them in my top comedians

Yeah, Kradek, you're spot on. Somehow Anthony and Daniel do that and make it work. They somehow pulled it off without me constantly muttering under my breath "ugh, this douche again" like other "offensive because I can be" comedians.

I did for about 2 years early on when it first started. Like around 2010. I enjoyed Toshs standup and when I heard him on radio shows so I tuned in and it was ok for a couple years but I feel it ran its course after that and tuned out.

No he has a podcast now.

I love the 'Is it racist?' segments.

Yeah and west coast Chanel or whatever her name is. Her laugh grates my nerves.

But I know ridiculousness still plays. Like it will play all night/morning on MTV.

When I worked the prison and worked hospital duty the inmate almost always put that on

Now at Juvie my co workers tend to put it on

What I loved is how heo people where just on board with it. He had a Facebook page and it would posy like a pic and have some offensive comment attached to it. One was particularly racist towards a dead black guy. All I'm gonna say it was a black guy in a casket wearing street clothes rather than a suit and he was covered in dollar bills. So you can imagine the kinda racist things said about that.

Anyways in the comment section a black woman was flipping shit and a black dude just replied "new around here huh"

Yeah

He was one of my favorite comics before he had the show, so I watched it. I think I saw the first 8 seasons? and for some reason just kinda stopped watching eventually. Like about 1-2 years after Trevor Noah took over the Daily Show. Just kinda lost interest in regular tv in general at that point and mostly stuck to youtube and other online content.

I preferred his standup to the show, but it was still funny enough. The "Lightning Bolt!" web redemption was probably my favorite one and I never even knew of it before the episode. Just Tosh mocking furries and LARPing was so good. Oh, and the "extended" review of Human Centipede, which apparently has been lost? I tried looking it up again a while back and comedy central changed their site and I couldn't find it. If it's gone, that is a horrible loss to all humanity.
