I was on my way to it. But then I calmed my keyboarding/gaming down and forcefully painfully stretched my wrist twice daily till it went away.

How'd you get it

I prob have early onset. My hand gets real sore easily from repetitive movement. I think I got it from calisthenics when I was a teenager. Then got worse when I used hand tools frequently at my old job. Then got more worse during my runescape grinding days and mashing on dmc 3

I think I'm probably gonna have to have surgery at some point, myself...

It's a good thing that the tech is a bit better than when my dad had his hands worked on, though. What they did to his was pretty brutal looking.

It doesn't have to happen. Use a gel wrist rest for keyboard and mouse. Sit at a height that doesn't force tension in the back of your hand. Avoid key combos that splay your fingers wide. And most importantly, pay attention to your body and if you feel pain, instead of ignoring it, adjust your workspace and/or posture.
