I took out an unsecured loan through a Credit Karma offer for 5 years at 8.5% interest in 2022.

Those same loans are like doubled in interest rates now.

I have a comparable credit score now to what I did then.

This loan (from the same lender) is the same length, for slightly less total amount, and has just shy of triple the interest rate.

Now, my credit profile on the whole looks different than when I applied for the personal loan. I now have a car loan and the same personal loan still being paid on

But still. Holy shit.
