This was detached enough that I could take it. I don't think I can even post the trailer here. GiftedACIII 05/02/24 5:47:20 PM #31:	I will say the Sadness is actually much scarier than any other "zombie" movie I've seen because none of the characters have guns (well a zombie policeman does but that's actually bad), all of them are fairly weak so no hack and slash or pro wrestler MMA moves, and the zombies are even semi-intelligent, just completely psychotic so the premise is just pure running from a horde of psychos who want to torture you to death. It's basically the worst nightmare one can have of zombies instead of "epic zombie slaughter" or "humans are the real villains" I usually think of. Like the "eye" scene people keep mentioning here is the craziest it gets and even that is implied rather than shown which is far more disturbing IMO. Crossed loves just going absolutely bonkers with its visuals, the vast majority you can't even describe here and they pretty much never serve a purpose to the overall plot other than shock value and to browbeat you with "we're all horrible inside". Like ik it's not supposed to be the uncomfortable part of the movie I might be remembering it wrong. I don't feel like it starts out in an orphanage unless you mean something else. The very start of martyrs should be like a family getting ready in the morning type thing. That movie makes stuff like human centipede just seem like mainstream goofiness.
