I stopped playing that because I got bored with the lackluster story and the gameplay wasn't good enough to compensate.

Yeah it's extremely basic when you get down to it, and recycling 90% of the enemies from the first game that is over a decade old really blows. I uninstalled like right before even viewing the final scene, all I had to do was walk forward and press a button and I couldn't even see that through.

It barely feels like a sequel tbh.

Ok.

It's garbage.

It's a great game.

I thought the first game was mediocre, and I kind of hated the ending.

I was hoping this game would fix the problems and be better, but it seemed to basically keep all the things I hated while adding even more things I hate. So it can fuck right off.

I didn't even give it a shot when I saw the bizarre stuff they were doing with the one save and banning people who tried to get around it.

1 step forward, 2 steps back

shit would have been considered outdated as a launch ps3 title.

Capcom really pushing that live service agenda. I can confirm this is the case.

I loved DDDA but DD2 is an insult and can die in a fire.

Are y'all really that unhinged to care about multiple save files? It's such a bizarre hill to die on especially when there's actual game design flaws abundant in the game.

For multiple characters, yes.

And no, I'm not giving the game a pass for its myriad other issues.

But it's a stupid fucking policy and needs to brought attention to.

Yeah there is no reason to have more than one character. You can change your appearance whenever you want and you have all the classes available to you when you unlock them.

98% of the overall plot of Dragons Dogma 2 is absolutely terrible and silly, but there is that 2% that I really like.

I recently beat the game, had fun with the combat though it got super easy towards the end because my character got too overpowered.

Says you. I make multiple characters for all games of this type. I made backup save files for the first game for the same reason.

And being able to change their appearance means absolutely nothing to me, because I still want treat them as different characters altogether.
