But honestly it was mostly Jim Carrey hamming it up as Robotnik that sold it. It was a wonderful movie and I'm glad it's popular, but I found the ending way too corny and it detracted from me caring about the characters a little. You know, the one where he talks. It was so bad. He doesn't say anything other characters don't also point out, and he doesn't do anything except copy his own body language from the OT. And then they put the cherry on top by reminding us of angsty punmaster teenage episode 2 Anakin.
