These are local elections. While they are affected by national issues, people are much more concerned about stuff like rubbish collection and moving on those Travellers.

I havent really followed politics there closely since I left. Seems like everything has got significantly worse for most of the people living there, and it was pretty shit when I left.

They're only local elections and some mayoral elections, but it'll be a good idea of what will happen in the general election later in the year.

If the current polls are to be believed, it'll be a bloodbath for the Conservatives.
