Of all the breeds, I feel like pit bulls represent the largest percentage of breed, and Google shows it is in the US.

Easier to get and cheaper. Of course where I live, goldendoodles can be seen quite a bit.

I guess why is it so easy and cheap? I would have guessed golden retrievers will be the most popular, but Im wrong.

I've had 2. Didn't ask for either they where just kinda dumped on me.

I like them but I don't think I'd get one by choice. By having them dumped on me I was annoyed with thr situation and was more stern than I normally would be with a dog which I feel helped raise them to be well behaved. Over time they grew on me and then we had a great bond.

Like I never put them on a leash. If they strayed from the yard all I had to do was yell YARD and they came.back.

they were way over bred. and are often bred by and for people who have no business owning a dog, so lots of them end up as strays.

It's the truth. I dunno if them being female dogs made it easier.

Pit bull is a blanket term now and other breeds like the American Bully and Staffies are often put under the same umbrella.

I have a pitbull and she's the best.
