my cat has gingivitis :(
I took him today cus I saw red spots on his gums and they said he has early gingivitis. it's not lethal but can turn into something more serious... so i'm having him get a cleaning in a couple weeks cus they said that'll help but it is common for gingivitis to come and go in cats. it sucks cus i'll need to drop him off for the day so i won't be able to be there when he gets a cleaning.

yikes. at least he didn't bite the vet this time lol.

not for a cat, but i have had deep teeth cleaning done for my dog before. it was pretty simple. the worst parts were him being gone all day and the bill.

the bill
ugh. yeah, i'm dreading it... my main job is off for the next 4 months so I only have income from my night job, and the bill today was $400, then the bill for the cleaning itself will be around $800 (he needed some shots and bloodwork too cus he's older, so the expense isn't just the cleaning)

i honestly think pets are more expensive than kids. luckily I'm scheduled for an early morning drop off, so I will be able to get him that evening...but still :(
