That's completely different. Nexus mods is still free, but I think what people don't seem to understand is that there are server costs and labour costs involved in hosting such a website. I really drives me nuts that people are so disassociated from reality that they think things just... happen. And that everything should be completely free. They have over 500,000 mods hosted, they've paid out millions over the years to mod creators, they constantly work on improving their mod manager to function with over 200 games currently, and are constantly adding both new and old games to that list. They've done so much to let people easily mod games, its insane.
