I did not accuse you of lying, but of being misleading.

You state that Biden is giving more money to cops. What he has done is ask Congress for more money. Those are not the same thing.

You also gloss over the extremely positive things he wants to do with the money, such as gun reform.

Good luck with your efforts to get a less authoritarian leader than Biden elected.

Okay, but the word "better" does not mean the same thing as "ideal" or "perfect."

Your chance of surviving with the 25 pound weight is much better than your chance of surviving with the 90 pound weight.

Ideally you'd have 0 weight, or even a floatation device, but the scenario doesn't include those as an option.

The unfortunate reality is this isn't a money problem. Less money and more money both make the problem worse. This is an education, PR, and training problem.

Theoretically more money could fix it if it went there I suppose, but it won't.

We need to further professionalize the profession or something. Make it a high class job with really high requirements, longer and better training, bring in different types of cops(let's see some leftist cops for example), etc.

Yeah, basically. Need to drive home the "job" aspects of it.

Living in the South, I see more anger prone gun toters wanting to be cops than I do people planning a career path. Even those planning a legal career usually look at literally everything else in the field before police work. It needs...a lot and there's no easy fix.

He's trying to lose.

You may want 0, but if the unavoidable options are 90 or 25, the 25 is literally better. Better does not mean, perfect.

Plus, police officers actually care about the community. Did you know that almost half of these boys in blue donated a significant portion of their salary to local charities during the covid pandemic in 2020? Don't believe me? Just google search "40% of cops".

What do you think "better" means? I understand if English is your second language. To be clear, "better" is a term of relativity. The better option doesn't have to be positive, just greater than the alternative.
