I've had a durian popsicle and a creamy durian pastry I forgot the name of. I hated the former, mildly enjoyed the latter.

Not in its raw from. I've had various durian custards, candy, popsicles, and filled pastries. They were all pretty good, not outstanding.

A couple times, and I really enjoyed it. The smell is more intense and potentially off-putting than the flavor, imo. I'd love to enjoy it more often, but it's really expensive here in the States.

First exposure was the fruit itself which was way too much for me. Later acquired a minor taste for it through candies/wafers/shakes flavored with real durian - still unsure if the real thing would be too much for me or not... ... Copied to Clipboard!
