ngl, I'm gonna be kind of a fanbitch about how they're scaling Kengan up to Baki par, but I'm still gonna watch the whole thing with caramel popcorn.

Kind of expecting ohma to job out of respect for the older series, lol.

The single greatest form of praise in the Baki series is Yujiro attacking a person, and that person not completely being obliterated.

Is that anime original, or was there a manga version? I remember a Kengan vs Street Fighter crossover advertisement manga at some point, but don't remember Baki. Curious if they'll have definitive fights with winners and losers, or just have it lead to draws where nobody takes any serious hits. Baki definitely severely outclasses everyone in Kengan, but the other fighters should be roughly on par.

There was a one-off Baki vs Kengan chapter by Sandro, but I'm not sure if it was promo for this, since it came out a year or two ago.

Kengan character look different when they aren't CGI homunculi.

Atarashi Gakko is also a choice for a group to do the theme song.

I am guessing it is just due to the limited number of fights and then wanting to make sure Kure got represented, but it feels like Julius should be Jacks opponent to find out whose science is better.

Seems like they saw Jack's rush against Motobe and decided "hey doesn't the other guy do something like that too"

Baki is from a universe that is almost parody. Not really a fair fight tbh

Kengan Ashura is the most unwatchable series I've ever made an attempt at. Not my thing in any sense.

Love me some fuckin' Baki though.
