So it starts talking about the actual Nintendo World Championships, but it's for a specific game, which is basically a series of NES speed-run challenges of the type they put into the NWC.

EDIT: I'm showing my entire ass in forgetting that NES Remix existed and this is basically just that.

That would be like saying WarioWare would be better if it lets you play the full games. It would kind of defeat the purpose of what the game is supposed to be.

Does Warioware put the original NES games/ characters on their game cover?

It's 30 bucks USD to buy the digital version and 60 bucks to buy the deluxe physical with the tchotchkes.

150 challenges across 13 old games is how they're marketing it.

This looks like NES Remix but worse

They give this a deluxe edition with a physical switch cartridge, but couldn't give the 30th anniversary release of the original Fire Emblem NES game one and instead it just got a code for the digital version? Yeah, sure. Okay.

At this point it's not a game collection they sell, but some merch package with some game inside.

It's crazy how they come up with the most silly ideas.

Hey if we just call it Challenge Mode we can get people to pay to play 3 seconds of 40 year old games.

It looks fun, but seems like a step down from Remix, and is ludicrously overpriced.

I'd pick it up for a fiver quid in a sale, but 25 is madness.

Even a port of NES Remix Pack with Famicom mode would be a lot better.

The name makes me think they plan to do more of these, for the other systems. I bet either Game Boy or SNES is next

this shit is expensive because the original NES game is one of the most expensive games on the market

not for that price. oh well.

For reference NES remix 1 + 2 had more games than this, more challenges, and actually were remixes, and those were half the price of this each

NES Remix double pack (physical edition) was $30 and had more than triple the content
