I have two One Piece TCG starter decks and no one to play with. Can I just go to one and play even if I know nothing about it outside of some clips I've watched and the tutorial app?

I fully expect to get destroyed by people younger than me so that part is fine.

Absolutely! If it's not an event for that game you may or may not have any luck finding someone to play with, but most shops will have regulars that come by to pick a game up if there are tables to play at.

Just be upfront that you're learning and haven't played much. Most people would be willing to help you learn, and if they aren't willing then they aren't someone you want to play with.

Yeah, it's explicitly the One Piece game.

The card game local scene is actually pretty active here, it's just a matter of making myself go to one.

In my experience TCG communities are pretty welcoming of new people, especially if it's a niche game (does one piece count as niche? I dunno)
