I loved the original but it always felt like the kind of thing that wouldn't have benefitted at all from a sequel, so I never bothered with the others.
I guess I'm not super into sequels anyway. It would seem to me to be the opposite of how a story is supposed to work. --- There's a difference between canon and not-stupid. ... Copied to Clipboard!

There are no winners in the movies, at least the 2010s trilogy, except apes. I'm not a fucking ape, I'm a human (technically an ape but you get my point).
