I haven't been following it >_> But I listened to Pat and Woolie talk about it for like 90 minutes on their podcast and it was wild lol. They broke it down like this below with all these tracks. How accurate is it? >_> I still have yet to listen to any of the tracks, but I will soon

First Person Shooter - Drake (Drake and J Cole says them and Kendrick Lamar are the big 3, but in a way kinda like "We're up here! Oh and I guess Kendrick is here too...")

Like That - Kendrick Lamar (Kendrick says Fuck the big 3, it's just me to Drake and J Cole)

7 Minute Drill - J Cole (J Cole criticizes Kendrick, but he retracts the track almost immediately and says he's out this beef lol)

Push Ups - Drake (makes fun of Kendrick's height and some other stuff)

Taylor Made Freestyle - Drake (has AI voices of Tupac and Snoop Dogg dissing Kendrick Lamar (who he idolizes). The estates of Tupac and Snoop are like "What the fuck. This is not cool to use AI like that".)

Euphoria - Kendrick Lamar (The title is a reference to the show Drake produces, and from what I gathered it's just pure hateful comments towards Drake)

6:16 in LA - Kendrick Lamar (more of that, says he has moles in Drake's circle of friends)

Family Matters - Drake (Drake says Kendrick beats his wife and one of his sons is from his friend. Has an actual music video which is kinda wild for a diss track lol)

Meet the Grahams - Kendrick Lamar (literally twenty minutes after Drake releases Family Matters, Kendrick releases this and goes fucking hard lol. Says to Drake's family that he's sorry Drake is a horrible person and that he should kill himself, claims all of Drake's friends hate him and that's how he got pictures of his ozempic and ab surgery and knew Family Matters was dropping, says Drake has an illegitimate 11yo daughter that he hides)

Not Like Us - Kendrick Lamar (Next day, Kendrick goes into Drake's pedophilia history and how he protects other pedophiles)

The Heart Part 6 - Drake (The title is a reference to Kendrick's "The Heart" series. Drake denies the pedophilia claims. Drake claims that the 11yo secret daughter stuff is bullshit and says Kendrick never sees his kids)

it goes back all the way to Control, where Kendrick named a bunch of his contemporaries, saying he had respect for them, but how he would murder them (lyrically/music-wise) and take their fans.

most of the other artists Kendrick named knew he was just being competitive, but Drake caught feelings, and since then, they've been sneak dissing each other, even though they might publicly say they respected each other.

despite that, they never worked together again but things finally came to a head with First Person Shooter - apparently, someone on Drake's side reached out to have Kendrick be on it, but because, as we now know, Kendrick hated Drake, he passed on it.

and after FPS came out, Kendrick seemed to take some exception to some of the lines, since he dissed Drake and J. Cole on Like That, and now here we are.

He's pretty much too big to fail at the point. What's most likely going to happen is a few months after this beef has died out, he'll probably release some other hit and the general audience will forget about all of this.

The only way this would destroy his career would be if he got caught sleeping with.one of those underage girls or the sex trafficking allegations are proven to be true.

I saw this article recommended, saying that the beef started when Drake dissed Kendrick back in 2014 during an ESPN interview, but he threatened to not be part of the ESPYs if they revealed any of it:

Drake wants to have his cake and eat it too. Hes the most popular singer because he makes music that is catchy and has broad appeal, but has much less substance than others like J Cole and Kendrick who are actually respected for their lyrical abilities. Drake having a team of ghostwriters write his music now does not help matters.

Hes by far the most commercially successful but he also wants to be in the conversation as a legitimate hip hop goat, which hell never be, the culture doesnt accept him. Totally fine for him to just be a hit maker, as long as he owns that role. But he wants his cake and wants to eat it too.

Also instead of evolving as an artist and contributing to the culture, he just latches on to the next popular wave, and leeches off the culture. Hes gone through his soft boy phase, Jamaican and Caribbean phase, his mob boss phase, his FBoy phase, his drill music phase, and so on. Not because he organically shifted styles and experimented with his sound like Kanye or Tyler the Creator, but because those genres were popular at the time.

Hes salty about that and makes sly digs towards everyone, oversteps boundaries with other peoples wives and girlfriends, both ex and current, and keeps artists like PartyNextDoor and Division under his thumb, and steals their songs (tried to do the same to Weeknd), and overall is a culture vulture. Acts black and plays into the culture when it is convenient for him but never speaks on actual issues and experiences.

For all his popularity, Drake is not accepted by the grassroots hip hop community, and in many ways, in a corporatized, sanitized, focus-group-tested, made-for-general-audiences, industry plant. Like Kanye said, Drake has a sugar daddy named UMG.
