I have already seen ads in games. Spiderman Web of Shadows (2008) had billboards around the city that periodically changed what was showing on them. I remember advertising an energy drink, then a while later it was a pack of chewing gum.

It's kind of lazy, we all love the Sprunk and Pisswasser ads in GTA, but otherwise you expect to see *something* there and an ad, real or not, is *something* that can fit.
