Casinos in Las Vegas had an idea to create a database to track cannabis usage/legality, since it was a product of interest, at the time, while Nevada was debating/voting on the issue, and it was worth tracking for the sake of potential revenue interests.

And even THAT proved to be, ultimately, too large and inconsistent of an undertaking.

So just imagine literally tracking pregnancies on a federal level.

I get the joke, but the sad part is how real your statement is.

Capitalism (Vegas casinos) tried so, so hard to track something much smaller (cannabis usage/legality of tourists/casino patrons), and just... Couldn't figure out a consistent way to do so.

Meanwhile, apparent glue sniffer Katie Britt is trying to suggest the federal government tries to track... Literally pregnancies, something they have no actual financial interest in, unlike the prior example.

Maybe I'm wrong but couldn't they just force hospitals to submit any records of pregnant women? Make the hospitals do the work form them basically.

Not that I'm ok with the idea just saying it doesn't seem like they can't do it I'm a way that barely puts a burden on themselves.
