Pretty poorly descriptive topic title due to having very few characters to work with. Basically, in order for Streamers to get a key for the Alpha test they have to sign a contract to never say anything negative about the game.

Extremely disappointed in Marvel Rivals.

Multiple creators asked for key codes to gain access to the playtest and are asked to sign a contract. The contract signs away your right to negatively review the game. Many streamers have signed without reading just to play.

"No negative comments" or "No review copies handed out" usually mean the game sucks.

I guess the thing to do is play the game on stream as you normally would. End by saying, "in summary, my rating on the game is [deadpan reading of contractual language] out of ten"

Here is the Reddit topic I saw this on. Comments suggest Netease (Creator of the game) is just a Gacha game company that seeks to scam underage users.

This is why you don't trust reviews until the game has been released. Even without signing a contract, content creators are still going to feel pressured into giving a good review regardless of how they really feel because it could result in them never getting a early copy to review again.

Marvel ain't making shit. Disney will sell the rights to use their IP to virtually anyone willing to play by their rules. They don't care about the quality of the product. They've already gotten their money.

But yeah, this is supposed to be a game similar to the recent Suicide Squad shit fest. The difference being, this one will have even less effort put into it.

What happens if they review it negatively because they didn't read the terms?

This is misleading.

They are ayaing they want criticism based around how the game operates that they can actually improve upon, its obviously not a finished game so why would we want reviews of a game not released in its final state?

Seagull is just assuming no one rrsd the contract.

In his defense I haven't seen of there are similar contracts for other games.
