Ashley Biden said her words are being taken out of context. These were words from her private journal. Private musings meant for nobody's eyes but their own. If Biden had been truly inappropriate with her, she would have written about that, rather than said "probably inappropriate?"

I personally wouldn't shower with my children and don't recommend it either. That said, this is actually quite normal in some cultures/families for parent and child to shower together and think nothing of it until a certain age.
