Fire on the Mountain. Run, boys, run!
The Devil's in the house of the rising sun; Chicken's in the bread pan picking out dough Granny, does your dog bite? No, child, no! ....are all from fiddle songs and Johnny plays a bit from each one after he sings. This whole time I thought they were just vaguely poetic country gibberish. Fire on the Mountain is just a traditional fiddle song from the 19th century: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FybVapyAts House of the Rising Sun is probably the most famous one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YiJfcaQ7wMw The chicken line is from an old folk song called Ida Red, made famous by this band: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVwuz3hEcOs And asking granny about her dog is just a fiddle tune: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_Pa_nHYGfc --- https://i.imgur.com/Er6TT.gif https://i.imgur.com/Er6TT.gif https://i.imgur.com/Er6TT.gif So? I deeded to some gay porn. It doesn't mean anything. - Patty_Fleur ... Copied to Clipboard!

Aside from house of the rising sun, I didn't know what they were from, but I assumed they were references to other songs because of it.
