I'm thankful for the ease of communication that we have with my kids school, especially when I think back to when I was in school.
I remember when I was in HS (Mid-90s) a kid brough a knife into school with (allegedly) the intentions of starting a fight with a fellow student. Security tackled him to the ground in the cafeteria, and eventually the cops were called. I don't think my parents ever knew about it. Now, we get a phone call and an email when they plan fire drills. --- It takes zero effort to be a good person. ... Copied to Clipboard!
