FWIW I am terrible at Hades and consequently Hades II, so this is actually a pretty big shock to me.

Granted, I accidentally put myself into cheese territory cuz the run had a TON of Hestia boons, and I wasn't even wearing her medallion.

I had Soot Sprint, scorch applied on cast and attack, and Fire Extinguisher, and few other mostly unhelpful ones (thanks, Hera, jeez...). But anyways, I mostly just sprinted around sucking up her bullets, putting her inside a cast, getting a few hits in with the staff, and sprinting off again. Fire Extinguisher would smack her pretty hard as scorch damage kept piling up aggressively in the cast, on top of her own bullets adding on.

It took a while, but I took more hits from her ally call ins than her lol.

I beat her the second time also. I find it interesting some people say she is harder than Chronos.

You get a huge area to run around in, while the final phase of the Chronos fight has a really small arena with a lot of shit happening at once when he starts summoning other enemies.

I've made it to Chronos now a handful of times and always get bodied. I think the best I ever did was actually my first attempt fighting him, but I did have a really lucky build by that time. I might've been able to win if I'd had just one more Death Defy, womp womp.

That really narrow area is reeeeaaally a pain in my ass.

I think surface runs are in general just a little bit easier, though. Getting to plan so much more from the start w/ seeing the whole city is pretty clutch, and part of how I accidentally ended up with a very Hestia heavy build which worked really well against Eris.

I'm guessing the later surface levels will be more difficult.

The current levels could use some re balancing though. As of now, you usually get way too much gold without even trying so you can just buy everything from Charon's shop.

I have the most success against Chronos with the axe, since you can block most of his attacks with the special
