I honestly don't see the point beyond faster loading times. Those 4-5 games temporarily exclusive to PS5 aren't going to get me to spend 500$. Might as well simply save that and invest in a decent PC at this point.

To be honest the fast loading times, better performance, and how quiet it is are basically exactly what I wanted. I had a launch ps4 that sounded like a jet engine and was definitely showing its age.

I unfortunately didnt get to game as much as I wanted during the ps4 gen, so getting to play some of the best games of last gen on much better hardware has been amazing for me.

I understand why this may not be enough for some people though

Its a real let down of a console. Im the only person I know IRL who has one and if I was on a more normal income I wouldnt have splurged for one.

It's because graphics don't impress any more. Most people don't care about those lighting and particle effect improvements and just care about the overall product which outside of a very small handful of games this gen, there really haven't been any that impressive. The ones that have been also haven't been making bank exactly, either.

So, why upgrade? No real reason to since a not of stuff still comes out on previous Gen hardware.

Not to mention the competition from infinite garbage games on Mobile.

Implying that popularity = quality LMAO. You know what else sells millions? McDonald's. Some people would buy anything the media tells them is good.

The PS4 versions of Skyrim and Fallout 4 doesn't even allow mods, and plenty of their online multiplayer games block crossplay and cross progression. Meanwhile the Xbox ended up being the most consumer friendly console thanks to backwards compatibility and Gamepass.

The topic is about many ps4 users not transitioning to the ps5, and why that is. Your answer to this is that the Xbox is better. Why would the xbox then STILL sell less?

This is not a conversation about quality. Your argument just doesnt make any sense in relation to the topic

The only games it has are like... Spider-Man 2, Ratchet and Clank, FF16, FF7, and Helldivers 2 lol. Only FF7 and Helldivers are worth a damn. Everything else is either not an exclusive or playable on PS4.

No, that would be due to them starting that gen publicly announcing their very, very anti-consumer friendly plans for the previous gen and everyone pointing and laughing at them. The backwards compatibility and Gamepass were desperate course-corrects which ended up in our favor. Let's not pretend MS ever had the consumer in mind here.
