I don't hate Democrats more than Republicans. I am highly frustrated that we fail to prioritize the world we are making inhabitable for future generations, and instead are willing to let ourselves lose elections almost as if just to teach a lesson to other Democrats. If you think such a strategy is ever appropriate, we think VERY differently politically.

And Clay, I agree that it's not Democrats' jobs to keep Republicans in line, but with this issue, we definitely could be doing a hell of a lot more.

And again, I brought attention to Democrats because that's who posts on this board. If this was a right wing echo chamber, I wouldn't have come in with the same phrasing, but I also wouldn't have come in at all.

For anyone confused about what my standpoint is here, the worst thing you can do is not vote Democrat, whether locally or statewide or federally. There is no single issue right now that justifies not voting Democrat.

I get it, no one will be able to afford insurance.

There are two different problems that I see. The main problem is actually the voters who can be easily persuaded that it's not worth voting for some dumb petty reason. Then in turn the party has to cater to all kinds of splinters within the party, resulting in less emphasis on climate issues out of fear that it could be the straw that loses swing states voters that are now that much more needed.

Democrats are not the lesser of two evils and I'm sorry if I implied that. However, there is still so much room for improvement, mainly among the voters rather than the institution itself, though I'm sure many voters would still rather blame the institution, regardless of how many internal reforms it implements.

Florida will never sink because all of the airheaded bimbos like DeSantis will keep it afloat. Checkmate, Woke liberals!

The more I hear about this state, the more it seems better wishful thinking to hope more Republicans keep moving there for retirement so we can pick up on electoral votes elsewhere.
