It is 88 here today. It's my least favorite season by far. I hate the heat and the terrible oppressive humidity that is the real issue. If it was a dry heat it wouldn't be that bad.

Add in the fact I work at a power plant and summer means violent thunderstorms it is really stressful working when it is storming and lightning everywhere. Every storm is like a wrath of god thunderstorm where warm and cool air collide to make violent storms. Since I live in Tornado Alley it gets bad here.

Seriously summer sucks so much. Once I retire I'm moving to my dreamspot with mild summers and way less violent summer weather.

I love summer in Vegas. When you walk the Strip when the sun is going down, which is the optimal time to be there, anyway, the temperature tends to be just perfect.

also my least favorite season. for one reason or another, it merely being daytime hurts my eyes. the heat hurts my head and skin. sweating is very uncomfortable. i get incredible lethargic in the sun. most of the year, it goes away in the evening, but not at summer. its just such an energy draining season, i really wish i had the gene to enjoy it like everyone else

It's gonna be rough in my shitty apartment. The electricity is so fucked that you can't have more than a few high-power electronics/appliances operating at once before you blow a fuse. I can't even imagine what using an air conditioner will do.

It's currently mid 60s where I am, and I'd happily trade for warmer weather.

I love summers here. It gets hot but nowhere nearly as bad as other places.

Plus as someone who walks or rides my bike places, I love being able to go outside without having to put on a coat and get bundled up.
