Specifically Aerith part of Temple of the Ancients dungeon suuuuucks lmao. The first time he does it you can hide near the one side of the area. The second time you can't and just gotta pray and hope you have enough HP to tank it. I don't know if I'd consider it my FAVORITE boss of Rebirth, but it's up there. Fiop 05/20/24 3:27:36 PM #9:	Finally finished this game a couple days ago. Really fun game, even if I got frustrated with a couple mini-game parts and side content. Biggest criticism is twice when I died I accidentally picked the wrong option and went back too far and had to redo boss fights (seriously the wording of "Go back to previous checkpoint" isn't the clearest). Also the last boss of Chapter 12 was seriously annoying (and one of the times I picked the wrong option by accident). Died once on the final sequence on the last phase ~~Heartless Angel hit me right after I healed and had no ATB~~ but made sure to carefully look at the options this time to make sure I didn't go back too far. I don't normally like reducing the difficulty to easy but did so twice: first was the battle square part of the UPA sidequest. I didn't want to spend hours on it and suspected that if I hit the PoNR without finishing I'd have to do the entire UPA sidequest again. So if you started filling something else, it is possible to get it back. I get if they wanted us to deal wih an unavoidable attack, but having it trigger instantly by doing the very thing that is supposed to stop it is so bad. Just remove the chest as a weak point if that's what they want to do. Also he got it off one more time when Yuffie didn't have the ATB to cast Manawall so I tried to heal through it which was pointless. ctesjbuvf 05/24/24 8:39:38 AM #37:	Regarding the ending, I feel pretty confident ~~that she is dead, but not necessarily in all the universes, and part 3 will be partially about Cloud accepting that.~~ Finish up side quests and such first yeah. There are new battles in Golden Saucer that you can beat straight away after that. You can very quickly farm to get to level 70 either using the Kitten rescue sidequest in Nibel if you simply kill bees while ignoring the queen or just by doing simulator fights. The hardest parts are hard mode and the simulator battles. You get good stuff from both that makes the other easier so the order is kinda up to you. I would personally get the third elemental from the simulators before starting hard mode, it's in one of the first hard simulator fights and it's not really a problem to get it. Then probably start working on hard mode after that so you get more manuscript pages. It's nice to have full leveled healing, revival, steadfast block, precision defense focus, prayer, hp up and mp up on all party members at all times imo. Having magnify and elemental full leveled is also very great, but not necessarily right now. You can do everything in chapter 13, although if you want to use Cait Sith, pick chapter 12 instead.~~ For AP farming it might be better to do a simulator or muscle head fight. Use AP Up materia and that chocobo armband for man output. If you're interested in the rewards, the big one is the Genji Glove which removes the 9999 damage cap for one character. You also get some unique materia and the other Genji armor, but that Glove seems key for dealing with some of those harder bosses. I definitely think doing Hard Mode stuff is pretty frustrating, so I definitely wouldn't recommend for everyone. I'm happy with just doing all quests (including protorelic) and doing all global intel.
