I did a couple times, but years ago. It's fine but you do get sick of just eating shrimp for an hour

there's a reason Olive Garden only does unlimited refills on the cheapest things possible

No. I'm more of a Long John Silvers, not a Red Lobster.

I've had the endless shrimp a few times in the past couple of years.

Something is strange about blaming endless shrimp as the problem. The first time I had the endless shrimp it was when they did a short-term promotion. The next time I had the endless shrimp it was on a daily special (once per week promotion). Over a year ago they changed it to being available every day (during the week at least).

If the endless shrimp was causing so much loss, who was the genius that kept it going for so long? It seems that any business that is losing money in large part due to a promo would discontinue the promo before it put them out of business. I don't know but maybe they shouldn't be in business, and I liked going there...just not enough to keep them in business.xD

Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.

it's a loss leader. it's the same reason costco still(?) has 99 cent hot dogs. it gets people in, and then they buy other shit the store makes a profit from.

but if you offer endless shrimp, and people come in and only eat the endless shrimp, you're not making money

I ate like 80 shrimp the one time I went. Had a slight allergic reaction on the way home where my eyes got all puffy and watery and itchy which I'd never had before or since, but I have never come close to eating 80 shrimp before or since.

I would later throw up into my wife's passenger side door in front of a cop who then pulled us because he for whatever reason assumed we were drunk.

Cleaning shrimp vomit from a car door sucks.

I don't remember, was definitely less than 30 bucks per person and you had like 6 different kinds to pick from. Basically you just avoided the one that came on a bit of pasta because that was the most filling
