I'll buy scratch offs and maybe the rare actual lottery ticket, but I've never been to a casino or bet real money in games.

I used to have a bit of a gambling problem on and off.

Now I just stick to a scratch offs or lottery ticket here and there. Maybe some gacha gambling.

I usually buy the bare minimum Lotto ticket. Aside from that I play online Poker occasionally; have neither made a deposit nor a withdrawal in a long time now, just kinda won enough to keep playing and that's it.

I dabble. I made like $1000 sports betting last year. I go to the casino very rarely. Its fun but I dont see it as much else.

No. I see people at gas stations getting those tickets and my heart goes out for them. But I dont see a major issue with it aside from certain folk

my brother has far more money than me and he gambles like a fiend. Hes the smart one of the family but his impulses are crazy

My grandfather used to say it's the most dangerous addiction there is. With alcohol/drugs, you'll either pass out or die long before you go broke. But with gambling you can lose your entire livelihood in an instant. And it's even worse if you have a family that depends on you. It's not like you can go into rehab and get all your money back.

I may buy some powerball tickets once every few years when the jackpot's hyped. Other than that I don't gamble.

No. Sometimes I'll get a scratch ticket in a christmas card and if I win anything, then I might use the winnings for another ticket.

Not regularly, but I've gone to casinos a few times, played low-stakes poker with friends in the past, and used to play the lotto on occasion. Blackjack is my preferred game at casinos.

Very rarely and for relatively small amounts. I don't mind going to a casino and spending 20, knowing I'll probably lose all of it, but I do that perhaps once or twice a year.

More regularly I play poker with my mates, and I'm happy to chuck in a tenner once a month.

Never done any of that bookie 10-1 acca stuff, no interest in it either. I'd rather lose a tenner to a mate who'll just buy me a consolation drink anyway.

I play poker about couple of hundred hours a year so yea if you count that as gambling

I played some video poker when I was in Las Vegas for a concert. I have no strong feelings about it either way.

Every once in a while if I have a $5 bill on hand I'll put it in to a dollar slot machine after work and see if it hits. It once got me a bonus spin where I won $750. I'm not going to sit and play for an extended period of time though, I see the people that do that every single day and they are basically empty husks.

I don't gamble because I understand odds better than most people.

I'm not against other people gambling but it does sometimes reek of desperation.. like some people have no way to earn the cash they need so they run up debt trying to win the "big score".

Just feel bad for them really.

Nah. Have tried it but it doesnt do anything for me. Am not opposed to its existence.
