I dont even remember much from those ages. My parents got divorced and life was really unstable at that time. I feel as if subconsciously Ive erased parts of my memory from them.

I have very fond memories of playing Power Rangers in kindergarten, by using big wooden blocks. I guess that was the highlight.

Except other horrendous shit happened to me around that age. Still. I like that memory.

Itll obviously vary from person to person. I cant say that any part of my childhood was particularly pleasant.

For a while, I thought my undergraduate uni days would be the best part of my life, but the last almost 2 years have been great and the future is looking good.

If everything goes according to plan, I could see my late forties being some of the best years of my life.

It was my early-mid 20s until I met my wife. I dont party as much or have the freedom to go on spur of the moment adventures, but I wouldnt trade her for any of that.

All of those experiences and beautiful sights that I saw I was always thinking I wish I had someone special to experience this with. Now I do. I cant wait to see where we go from here.

I've had different ups and downs in life, but frankly, the only time where everything seemed to be going up and nothing was going wrong was after I graduated high school. I had grants, a blindingly hot girlfriend, the unearned, sculpted musculature of a young man, the friendship of many peers off to do their own great things. Nothing but blue skies ahead.

Boy howdy did it not go to plan. But then if it did, I wouldn't be where I'm going now, which I think is preferable still.

I just turned 30 and honestly almost every man Ive spoken to about it has said 30s were the best times of their lives.

I agree. My twenties were definitely the most fun but having the stability I have now and the freedom/peace of mind trumps that for me. I still have plenty of fun. Went to Vegas earlier this year and have a couple more trips booked.

I don't think it was my teens.
20's I found a purpose, people and a place I loved
30's was more of the same
40's 40-43 more of the same.
43 while there were bright spots (my late friend) You can tell it's been a downward slide since then.
So 25-27 I think when everything was good and new

Depending on what is meant by 'peaked', I would pick early 20s.

That's when I was fittest, had most energy, looked my best, etc. Also having a fantastic time at university. Though obviously that's not the peak in terms of knowledge, wealth, achievement.

Anyone who says "always" is wrong by default

But I do think it is true that if men stay in good shape, dating gets easier into their 30s and 40s. I know the question is about more than dating.

Im not suggesting that men cant enjoy their 30s.
Im 37 and my life is sweet. However, it all depends on personal circumstances.

Honestly it depends on context.

Financially right now at 48 I'm sitting really good, I'm stress free, and I'm basically coasting through life pretty damn happy. Ever since I hit my 40's my house has been paid off, I basically have very little bills and I'm just at a great point in life financially. I have total financial freedom and make good money for where I live.

But I have health issues that popped up in my late 30's that drag me down some. Physically I peaked into my late 20's. I definitely felt a change in my late 30's where I took a little longer to recover, got a little more worn out by some physical activities and what not.

Mentally I don't think anything is better than being a young kid like late Elementary and you just kind of have a blissful ignorance of the world in many aspects and my life consisted of just friends, doing activities, having fun, riding bikes, going swimming that sort of thing.

Not really a care in the world and no worries about anything that adults have. Not concerned about any finances, politics, things to take care or any health concerns. You just always feel on top of the world and the world seems good.

I'm looking forward to retirement and feel like that could be the best. My dad literally just retired the last day of April. Been retired like 3 weeks and seeing him kicking back where every day is "Saturday" just makes me want that all the more. I stopped over there before work this afternoon and he is just mowing the lawn with not a care in the world. Has been up to his cabin at the river like 3 times already in the last 3 weeks. He is living the good life now.

Mentally, 26-27
Physically, 23-24
Financially, 28-29
Socially, 17-20

Now at 31, almost 32. I have depression and anxiety, my body hurts all the time and while I make more money than Ive ever made Im also drowning in debt, and due to the aforementioned depression and anxiety Im very antisocial now.

Never really had a year where I felt like I was firing on all cylinders at the same time. A couple aspects of my life would be fantastic but others would be severely lacking.

Maybe when I get rid of all this fucking debt my mental health will stabilize. Feels like all of my problems could be solved with more money.
