Meh, I live in Arizona, whatever viruses/bacteria/germs manage to survive in the oven that my car becomes in the summer probably deserve to do me in.

I cannot STAND how dirty people keep their cars. Trash all over. Empty bottles rolling around. empty take away containers and bags that live in there year round.

How can you live in that?

I kept the cabin clean but my dogs lick the rear windows and thats pretty nasty and I keep putting off cleaning them.

Yeah, especially when you see a mountain of trash in the car, one can only imagine what insects/pests are hitching a ride in those kinds of vehicles.

This. Even though its not my business, I cant understand how people let their cars get so filthy on the inside. I had an uncle that had chicken bones inside of his car.

I use my car for less than 20 minutes/day on average. I don't keep any garbage or clutter in it at all. I tend to wash my hands before I get it in.

My car is usually pretty clean.

i got my old car in 2008 and finally got a new one a couple of months ago. after using my new car for a few days and then going back to the old one, i was shocked (and almost grossed out) at how foul my old car smelled. years of sweat absorbing into the seat and steering wheel, years of dog odor, years of weed smoke. even spraying Ozium every time i got out of the car for two weeks didn't really help.

i don't think most people spend multiple hours a day in a car

I was there once at a Walmart on my way to Phoenix and I parked next to a truck that had chicken bones on the dash,seat and the floorboard was full of them...this before camera phones.

I went inside Walmart to get a few things for the trip and I saw someone eating chicken wings in sporting goods. I waited in my truck and ofcourse it was the same guy that got in...YUCK
